We are an LGBT peer-led discussion and support group dealing with emotional health and wellness. We provide a safe, open and non-judgemental environment encouraging members to listen to each other, share experiences and learn ways to cope, heal and grow. We do this in an atmosphere of welcome, acceptance and empathy. We currently meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at the LGBT Community Center in New York City.

This is a group for LGBT nonprofit finance professionals. After 20 years of working with nonprofits I have found that the finance departments are staffed with members of the LGBT community. I have longed for a way to connect with them for networking opportunities, socializing, coaching and support. And a good dose of socializing as well.

The Philosophy Forum is a discussion group for members of the LGBT community and SOFFAs (significant others, family, friends & allies). Over the course of more than a decade, we have discussed works from the canon of Western philosophy, texts of Asian philosophy, post-structuralist and contemporary philosophy, and non-philosophic texts — including literary texts — from the perspective of philosophy.
