The Boston Gay Women's Meetup Group

We were formerly known as The JP Women's Group. Founded 1/26/07 by Chris Hansen, Director, the group has been so successful that now Kathy & Beth are assisting her in managing the group.

Our purpose is to build community for women in the Boston Area. Our hope is to create more community for gay/queer women in the Boston Area, especially for women who have recently moved here, or who have recently come out. Also, to help change the story that it is so hard to meet people in Boston. We are an inclusive group for women of all ages and backgrounds who identify as gay or queer in any way.

One of the organizers tries to be at as many of the events as possible to help welcome everyone. Many women come to these events on their own, but we're available to meet up with anyone interested before an event so you don't have to go on your own. Feel free to contact one of us.
