About The Melbourne Long Yang Club

Long Yang Club (LYC) Melbourne is a social group for gay Asians, their partners and friends to meet and socialise in a friendly and supportive environment. Since 2004 we've had dinners, BBQs, picnics, movie outings, get togethers at members' houses, yum-chas. Now we also have sports groups in badminton, Table Tennis (Ping Pong), and Tennis.

The first chapter of LYC was established in London in 1983. Now there are approximately 24 chapters worldwide. In Australia there are chapters in Adelaide, Canberra, and Sydney. In our ANZ/Asia region, chapters are established in Auckland, Wellington, Manila, Shanghai (China), Thailand and Hong Kong.

But, remember, we are not a dating club. We are part of an East-West social club whose members enjoy meeting and making new friends with persons who value real quality friendship and enjoy non-scene social activities.
