New York LGBT Entrepreneurs
|
LGBT people are some of the most creative, innovative folks around and a lot of us are entrepreneurial. Those of us who are starting a business, dreaming of starting a business, or who are already in business for ourselves can benefit from the experiences of others. For the record, I can't stand pure "networking" meetup events. What's the difference between that and going to a gay bar? When we convene, we have an agenda. Each person talks about what they're up to and the group responds with questions, comments, ideas, suggestions, and advice. This meetup is for everyone from the guy creating the gay Google, to the gal setting her bricks in mortar.

Our next meeting:
Guerrilla Marketing Meeting
Guerrilla marketing means using more time-intensive, smaller-channel, more creative strategies than larger competitors with bigger budgets can manage to exploit. When growing a small business, the ability to adapt to changing conditions and the creativity to plug into untapped markets and publicity vehicles are great assets. We will talk about what has worked for us and maybe brainstorm some ideas for you. Read more
